Our Team---

Beijing Mandarin School has never stopped working hard to improve our teaching quality. We have about 50 experienced and professional teachers from junior, middle and senior levels. Our experience teaching Chinese as a second language has led us to form our own unique teaching style. All our teachers have to take a 3 months training before he or she becomes a professional full-time teacher in our school. And every week there are also 2 to 3 times meetings for teachers exchanging their teaching experience and discussing new techniques for better lectures. Beijing Mandarin School has adapted our teaching style and has created a set of teaching methods that is designed exclusively for busy adult westerners. Our slogan is “Learn Chinese understand Chinese”!

Teachers''''''''awards:
Since 2006, nearly 30 teachers will be awarding quarterly. The Evaluation contents as following: The contest related to teaching methods will be held; the evaluations of teachers (made by students); the attendance and working attitudes; The lesson mark(made a call by customs service).The final added evaluation scores will be released quarterly, The first three groups will get award in three different levels.

For the 2006, the best teachers are Vera and Lily .

Baoling Yue:

I''m Baoling Yue, and I am from Beijing . As a Beijing ren (Bejing native) I tend to speak Mandarin with a little Beijing accent. I worked as a Mandarin teacher for 30 years in University of International Business and Economics, and now, a Mandarin teacher in BMS since 1998. Now I am a Mandarin teacher. It is my pleasure to be a bridge to the Chinese culture.

Avis Hou :

Hi, I am Avis. I became interested in teaching Chinese to foreigners about 2 years ago and now I am a full time instructor in Beijing Mandarin School . My students enjoy the teaching games I design for them. I love teaching Mandarin.

Abby Wang （王丽）

2005年毕业后任对外汉语老师至今。工作认真负责，常常督促学生做好复习，特别有耐心。无论你来自哪个国家，你的汉语水平如何，我都会耐心地帮助你提高你的汉语水平。你会很快发现你的进步。

我爱好广泛，喜欢旅游，唱歌、瑜伽，我有很丰富的课外知识，曾经帮助过很多学生起过汉语名字。学生们都很喜欢我，是学校最受欢迎的老师之一。

I have become a Chinese teacher from graduating in 2005. I always work hard and ask the student do homework and review. I am very responsible and patient. Whenever you come from and what about your Chinese is, I can help you improve your Chinese. The change will be seen soon. She is interesting in many things, such as travel singing and yoga. And I have much knowledge about outwards text book. I gave Chinese name to many students. I am one of most popular teacher in Beijing Mandarin School.

Linda Liu （刘晓瑜）

本人刘晓瑜，专业英语，高等教育自学考试本大毕业，在学校任职两年，经验丰富，秉成学校的教育理念，语境突出，丰富练习，幽默有趣。学生理解掌握容易。现在已经教过来自欧美、澳洲、香港等地的学生。

I am Lina（ Liu xiaoyu）. The major is English, graduated from Beijing foreign language university. I have been teacher 2 years in Beijing Mandarin School. Adhere to school’s professional teaching method, pay attention to language situation, substantial exercise, humor teaching in class, easy understand and master. I have taught students of many parts of world.

Sandy Hu （胡在文）

我是胡在文，因为兴趣所以选择。兴趣让我觉得工作有意义，兴趣让我对工作有热情，兴趣让我努力把工作做到完善。我喜欢笑，相信笑是人与人之间最默契的东东西，无论你来自哪里，送给彼此一个温暖真诚的笑，我们都是朋友。

I am Sandy as a Chinese teacher in Beijing Mandarin School. I like to be called “hu laoshi” and I have students who enjoy the special language and colorful culture. It is amazing once you find this language and that have something similar or completely different. It is great honor to be a Chinese teacher. So I always try to make my class to be helpful and joyful.

Helena Zhai （翟莱鑫）

我毕业于北京工商大学，英语听说能力很强，口语流利。中国历史文化功底深厚，于北京语言大学学习对外汉语教学的相关知识以及现代汉语，古代韩语等。中高级水平教学经验丰富，为人热情，有耐心，有责任感。稳重好学，兴趣广泛。

I graduated from Beijing Technical and Business University. I am good at English speaking and listening. I have abundant knowledge on Chinese traditional culture and history. Studied and completed the class of TCFL( teaching Chinese as a foreign language) in Beijing language and culture university. I have abundant experience of teaching middle and senior level. I am enthusiastic, patient teacher who likes learning and has many hobbies.

Sera Chou（周馥华）

英语专业本科生，两年半工作经验。我喜欢当一名对外汉语教师，喜欢和来自不同国家，有着不同文化背景的人们交流。我勤奋，敬业，对工作充满激情。

I’m an English bachelor. I have had about 2 years work experience. I like to be a Chinese teacher, and I also like to communicate with people who are from different countries and have different cultural background. I’m diligent, with great responsibility and enthusiastic to my job.

Hana （王睿）

汉语言文学专业，已从事对外汉语教育工作3年。专业知识扎实，教学经验丰富，擅长书法，精通汉字。治学严谨，能够因材施教，很好的解答学生在学习过程中提出的各种问题。教学方法简单易懂，贴近学生生活，深受各国学生喜爱。

I’m Hana, majored in Chinese language and literature. I have been a Chinese teacher for 3 years. I know a lot of Chinese knowledge well. I’m good at Chinese calligraphy and I’m also proficient in Chinese character. I have lots of experiences of teaching Chinese. I can answer all kinds of questions that the students ask during the process of studying Chinese. My method of teaching is easy to understand and all students like it very much!

Sophie （奚文娟）

我奚文娟。毕业于山西大学对外汉语专业，从事对外汉语教学工作已有两年时间。在大学期间，专业知识扎实，先后学习了语言学理论、中外文学、中外文化，以及教育心理学。毕业后,毕业后力求把自己的理论知识充分运用到教学实践中，并与Beijing Mandarin School的教学理念相结合，形成了自己特有的教学特色——课堂气氛活跃，师生关系融洽，受到学生好评。

Hello, I’m Sophie, graduated from SHANXI University. My major is teaching Chinese as a second language. During my 4 years of study in the University, I’ve learned the Linguistic, China and Foreign Literature, China and Foreign Culture, and Psychology.

After graduation, I tried to put my knowledge into practice, and combine with the theory of Beijing Mandarin School to form my own teaching method which plays an important role in my class.

Betty （霍冬梅）

我叫Betty，我在Beijing Mandarin School 做汉语老师一年半了，我非常喜欢我的工作，我的爱好是去别的地方旅行。我去过广东和深圳，我喜欢那里的美食，我去过香港；我喜欢那里的海风，让人觉得很舒服。两年前，我去了西藏，那真是个美丽的地方。

I’m Betty. I’m working in Beijing Mandarin School as a Chinese teacher for one year and half. I liked my job very much.

My hobby is to visit the other places in China. I had been to Guang dong province and the city of Shen zhen, and I loved the food in that place; I had been to Hong Kong, the sea wind makes me feel comfortable when I walked alone on the beach.

Lilian （丁莉）

Ni hao ! wo jiao Lilian. I have 3 years teaching experience. I am lucky to have and enjoy my job. It''s great experience to teach and share the language and culture with my students.

Some of my students are working in Beijing; they have been learning Mandarin with me almost for 3 years. And they can now use Mandarin for their business.
